  1. Thanks for this.

I’ve got a few questions, but I’ll start off with what I hope is an easy one. Is the author’s name “Onizuka Naoshi” as it says on your file or “Naoshi Onizuka” as it says on the cover? In my files I listed him under the former for years, then about six months ago I renamed everything to the latter. Now I’m confused.

    • mmm, Naoshi is a surname and Onizuka a name so in japanese style his name is “Naoshi Onizuka” while on western style it’d be “Onizuka Naoshi”.

however, his name on the cover and the sign on the last page reads 鬼束直 “onizuka naoshi”, so thats how he wants to be called, however the “presented by” on covers is always on surname-name form, Ive seen this happening some times before.

    • There is really nothing decided past the volumes you can see to your right ->

so I don’t really know. The possible future projects list grows larger everyday, but the order can be altered based on how much people is interested is see X finished. That’s why I do polls.

  2. Ok, here’s my second question. In the story Dryout there appears to be some sort of family relationship between the girl, the teacher, the adult man and the adult woman. I assume their relationship was revealed by honorifics or something and was lost in translation.

    • not really. Im pretty sure the teacher is not part of hayama’s family, he just guesses (correctly) there is something wrong with her behaviour, and then she aparently don’t even want to go home, she stays at school until night and have a bruise on her cheek… the teacher starts to worry then, but that sort of worry is as her teacher, not as family, im sure.

      • Thanks. I guess I assumed that when Hayama called the teacher “Shou-chan” that implied more than there really was there.
